Who is Burman?

Music has been part of my life since childhood — not as a hobby I picked up, but as something that was simply always there. Over the years that turned me into an avid listener, and eventually a collector: vinyl, tapes, CDs, DVDs, and finally back to vinyl again

There's something almost therapeutic about digging through a crate of records.

The artwork, the labels, the smell of an old sleeve, the record you didn't expect to find — none of that translates to a screen. Wherever I travelled, I found myself looking for record shops, flea markets, and dusty crates worth going through.

What began as buying for myself slowly became buying for friends and fellow music lovers too — building curated selections based on what I knew they'd actually enjoy. That habit, over time, became Burman's Vinyl. It isn't a business built from a spreadsheet; it's an extension of something I was already doing — finding great records and matching them with the people who'll love them.
